How to Use Peppermint Oil at home:
*Avoid Peppermint if you are an Insomniac
Face: 5ml of Grapeseed Oil with 1-2 drops of chosen essential oil
Burners: 2drops of chosen essential oil in water.
Diffuse: add 10-15 drops of essential oil (on its own or as part of a blend with other oils) to 100ml water in a diffuser.
Compresses: Soak cloth in 100ml of water and add 1 drop of chosen essential oil
Steam Inhalation: Use 2-4 drops of chosen essential oil in steaming water
Insect Repellent
Spiders- Diffuse peppermint oil into a room and you’ll notice fewer spiders. It doesn’t kill the spiders but forces them out.
Ticks- Place a little peppermint oil with a cotton swab on the tick. The tick will stop burrowing, remove its head.
Bugs- Many household bugs do not like peppermint oil. Just add 10drops to 100ml of water to a spray bottle and spray where you think pests grace you with their presence.
Clean Naturally. Peppermint oil is a wonderful natural cleaning agent. Spray on counter tops and bathroom surfaces. Just add 10-15drops of essential oil to 100ml of water.
First Aid- Toothache. a natural pain killer and muscle relaxant, especially with painful gums, teething or recent dental work. Just pop a tiny bit directly onto area that needs it.
Peppermint mouthwash: 1 drop of Peppermint Oil to 2 tablespoons of water. Just swish it around your mouth like you would with a regular mouthwash. Do not swallow!
Skin Toner: 2 drops of Peppermint with 100ml distilled water. Put in a bottle. Spray your toner onto a damp cotton wool pad and sweep over your skin after cleansing to restore brightness and balance the skin. Shake before use.
