Lavender Fun Facts:
During the Great Plague judges carried Lavender bags and sprigs of lavender were used to pack gloves. Apparently neither judges nor glove-packers contracted the disease.
How to Use Lavender Oil at Home:
Body: 25ml of Grapeseed Oil with 8 drops of Lavender.
Face: 5ml of Grapeseed Oil with 1-2 drops of Lavender.
Bath: First mix 6 drops of Lavender with 1 tsp of milk and then pour into your bath.
Burners: Place 3-5 drops of the oil together with some water into the top of an oil burner. Light the candle at the base of the burner.
Diffuse: Add 10-15 drops of Lavender oil to 100ml water in a diffuser.
Compress: Soak cloth in 100ml of water and add 1 drop of Lavender.
Steam Inhalation: Use 2-4 drops of Lavender in steaming water.
Sleep: Pop 3 drops on a side of your pillow to aid in a restful night’s sleep.
First Aid: Use neat on any burns to help heal and prevent scarring
